This
guitar strap consists of a layer of 1.5 mm vegetable tanned leather
on top with inlays of Fish and Cane Toad leather.
Cane Toads were introduced to Australia from Hawaii in June 1935
in an attempt to control the native Sugar Cane
Beetle. They have since then spread over a very large area of Northern
Australia where they are a considered a threat to a lot of our native
species. The hides are rather small but very distinctive with its
knobbly texture.
The guitar strap is lined with pig skin leather and hand stitched
throughout using a bone colored braided nylon cord.
The buckle is covered in kangaroo leather.
