Beautiful, very nicely tanned cream coloured snaked skin inlayed between two layers of hand cut vegetable tanned 1.5 mm cowhide dyed black on top and "violin tan" underneath for contrast. The shoulder part is additionally padded with 5 mm thick black felt (expensive). Stitched with a seven cord natural colour waxed linen thread for more texture. The buckle is covered with Kangaroo leather and handstitched. Additionally, the edge has been left two-tone to add dimension to the design and because it simulates guitar binding. This one wouldl have great stage presence with its bold design.
